Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Communication Engineer (Offshore) based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on reviewing and approving FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system in PIB, substations, and desalter plant areas, and ensuring interfaces to Telecommunication Systems are in place.

The candidate should have extensive experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects, FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge, and familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards is beneficial. Prior PMC exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering indicated as required.
• Extensive experience in oil & gas Petrochemical projects advantageous.
• FEED and detail engineering knowledge is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system in PIB, substation, and desalter plant areas.
• Ensure all interfaces to the Telecommunication System are in place.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during design and commissioning phases.

Communication Engineer (Offshore) Job Description

We are looking for Communication Engineer, the position is to be based in Abu dhabi, UAE.

The Communication Engineer will be responsible for review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB, substation and new desalter plant areas. Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• Eight (8) years of experience; Four (4) years for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge is compulsory
• Review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB, substation and new desalter plant areas.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.
