Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Communication Engineer to review and approve FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system across PIB, substation and desalter plant areas. You will ensure all interfaces to the Telecommunication System are defined and aligned with project standards.

The role requires extensive PMC and FEED/Detail engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects, with knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards being beneficial.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; four years for major projects.
• PMC experience in a similar role preferable.
• FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge is compulsory.
• Review and approve FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system in PIB, substation and desalter plant areas.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Experience in construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ensure interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.

The Communication Engineer will be responsible for review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB, substation and new desalter plant areas. Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• Eight (8) years of experience; Four (4) years for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge is compulsory
• Review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB,substation and new desalter plant areas.

• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.

Having experience in below:

• Industrial Security Systems as defined in HCIS directives/Saudi Aramco standards.
• HCIS approval process cycle for Security Systems.
• Security System Coverage study
• Video Surveillance, Video Analytics, Video Management, Facial Recognition, ID/Access Control
• Marine Radars/ LRDAS, MIDS and FOIPS.
• Barriers & Turnstiles control, X-ray, UVIS, EDS systems
• Security networks
• Security Systems servers
• Interface with other communication systems, Safety systems.
