Job summary

KBR is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent I&C with onshore site experience for a PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 18+ years in commissioning/operation readiness, and at least 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical role with preference for sour gas, hydrogen, and hydro-desulfurization projects.

Excellent coordination with licensors and vendors, and track record in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with GCC region preference.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference for commissioning sour gas, Hydrogen production, Hydro-desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure commissioning activities align with their procedures.
• Manage the progress of commissioning activities for sales gas and Condensate areas.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning Procedures.
• Provide advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify requirements for mechanical completion certificates across systems/subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning and related meetings.
• Troubleshoot to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify readiness for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and close out punch lists in area and ensure handover per contracts.

Experience required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST. Having a minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference. Must have at least (5 ) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas ,Hydrogen production, Hydro- desulfurization projects.

• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.
• Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and Condensate area.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning Procedures.
• Provide the required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager a.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
