Job summary

KBR is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Electrical with strong onshore site experience for MEGA EPC projects, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC assignment. The role demands a minimum of 18 years in commissioning/operation readiness, with at least 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical position, including sour gas/Hydrogen/desulfurization exposure.

Successful candidates will coordinate with licensors and vendors, oversee commissioning progress, review procedures, and support the Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning/operation readiness with GCC experience preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference for sour gas, Hydrogen production, Hydro-desulfurization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to monitor commissioning activities per procedures.
• Manage progress of commissioning activities for sales gas and Condensate areas.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Provide advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractors or Vendors.
• Verify requirement of mechanical completion certificates for systems/subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and related discussions.
• Troubleshoot to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify readiness for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and close out punch lists in area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with contract documents.
