Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in Dubai is seeking a qualified professional for a commissioning role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, as well as excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English. Responsibilities include testing and commissioning inspections, managing project timelines, and supporting the development of high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and be dedicated to completing projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC and controls in design, construction, energy evaluation and/or commissioning.
• Understanding and experience with the practice of commissioning in accordance with ASHRAE Guideline 0 and other related guidelines.
• Knowledge of TAB procedures and theory.

Responsibilities

• Contribute primarily to commissioning and occasionally to energy efficiency retrofits.
• Perform hands-on testing of HVAC, lighting, and control systems.
• Develop project scopes and plans and manage to timelines and budgets.

Skills

Excellent written & spoken Arabic

Excellent written & spoken English

Presentation and Communication skills

Knowledge of current sustainability standards

Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
