Job summary

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER is seeking a Pastry & Kitchen assistant to support the Chef De Partie and Head Chef in back-of-house food preparation. Daily shift activities focus on food quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–2 years of F&B experience, a proactive and energetic approach, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven experience in a similar F&B role.
• Energetic self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Able to travel and adapt to a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Capability of performing repetitious duties.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as assigned by direct supervisors from time to time.
• Assisting the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in supporting culinary operations of a specific section.
• Maintaining clear communications with the Demi Chef de Partie and related internal teams.
• Producing products as instructed by senior staff.
• Ensuring hygiene, licensing and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Following standard recipes and plate presentation to maintain quality.
• Using equipment safely and proficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work station.
• Upholding culinary standards and a professional kitchen environment.
• Abiding by hygiene/safety procedures per policy.
• Dating and storing food properly and sanitizing equipment.
• Controlling breakage, spoilage and costs.
• Assisting other sections during short-staff situations.

Job Summary

Responsible in assisting the Chef De Partie & Head Chef in back of house Pastry & Food preparation area. Daily shift activities, customer satisfaction in the food quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Capability of performing repetitious duties.

• Being responsible in assisting the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in supporting the culinary operations of aspecific section.


• Maintaining clear communications with the Demi Chef de Partie, including all relative internal communications.


• Producing products as instructed by senior staff.


• Ensuring that agreed food hygiene, licensing and safety standards are followed, upheld or surpassed, at all times.


• Working closely with standard recipes and plate presentation in order to maintain standards of quality in productionand presentation.


• Using equipment skillfully by following correct safe procedures.


• Maintaining a clean and safe work station.


• Ensuring a positive and professional working environment throughout the kitchens and upholding all culinarystandards.


• Abiding to all hygiene/ safety procedures as per company policy.


• Correctly dating and storing food, sanitize equipment and take other measures to ensure integrity and quality of foodproduct.


• Controlling breakage, spoilage and cost items.


• To assist on other sections or help with other duties when the kitchen is short staffed, in emergencies, and/or whenrequired

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of proven work experience in a similar filed with a known F&B property.
