Job summary

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER is a UAE-based retail group seeking a Pizza Chef to assist in back-of-house operations in a fast-paced kitchen. You will support the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie, ensuring food quality and smooth daily activities in a multicultural environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of pizza cooking experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven work experience as a Pizza Chef.
• Energetic self-starter with good speed.
• Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Capable of performing repetitious duties.
• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in supporting culinary operations.
• Maintain food hygiene, licensing and safety standards at all times.
• Date and store food correctly; sanitize equipment and ensure quality.
• Help other sections when kitchen is short staffed, in emergencies, or as required.
• Communicate clearly with the Demi Chef de Partie and the team.

Job Purpose:

Responsible in assisting the Head Chef in back of house/kitchen/food preparation area. Daily shift activities, customer satisfaction in the food quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Capability of performing repetitious duties.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as assigned by direct supervisors from time to time.
• Being responsible in assisting the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in supporting the culinary operations of a specific section.
• Maintaining clear communications with the Demi Chef de Partie, including all relative internal communications.
• Ensuring that agreed food hygiene, licensing and safety standards are followed, upheld or surpassed, at all times.
• Using equipment skillfully by following correct safe procedures.
• Ensuring a positive and professional working environment throughout the kitchens and upholding all culinary standards.
• Correctly dating and storing food, sanitize equipment and take other measures to ensure integrity and quality of food product.
• To assist on other sections or help with other duties when the kitchen is short staffed, in emergencies, and/or when required

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of proven work experience as a Pizza Chef
