AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team and work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and locations within the UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects across the UAE.

Your role
  • Pre and post contract commercial support
  • Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs
  • Review of interim valuations and payment certificates
  • Change Management
  • Review of variations and preparation of recommendations
  • Preparation and review of estimates
  • Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions
  • Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Assisting in preparation of progress/ cost reports
  • Reporting to Project Director on all commercial issues
  • Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
  • Attendance and representation at commercial meetings
About you
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university
  • Relevant experience in pre and post contract, commercial processes, strong admin and QAQC reviewing skills, managing change control process, client facing, and knowledge of the local market is preferable
  • Minimum 15+ years in pre and post contract (change management essential) relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management
  • MRICS mandatory
  • Experience of managing teams and client facing
  • Measurement and quantification of building and infrastructure works
  • Cost estimating of building and infrastructure elements
  • Must have previous experience of FIDIC contracts
  • Project experience must be broad and include hospitality, residential, leisure and infrastructure
  • Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years
  • Must have minimum of 5 years Middle East experience
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost-X or similar is preferable
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills
