Job summary

NEP India in Dubai is seeking a Commercial Finance professional to partner with commercial teams, drive budgeting and forecasting, and deliver insightful analytics. The role focuses on financial modelling, pricing decisions, and KPI tracking in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop dashboards, support governance with internal controls, and push automation and AI-driven insights to empower business decisions. Strong Excel, ERP and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• ACCA/CIMA/CFA/CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years in financial analysis, FP&A or commercial finance.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
• UAE or GCC experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel with financial modelling; ERP systems proficiency (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to present to senior leadership.
• Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
• Interest in AI, automation and data; curiosity about generative AI, Python, SQL, Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and sales teams to build budgets, forecasts and business cases.
• Prepare monthly management reporting with revenue, gross margin and cost variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models for pricing, profitability and investment decisions.
• Analyse sales performance by event, customer and region; communicate drivers and insights.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast cycles; consolidate inputs across the business.
• Track and report on key commercial KPIs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate capex and new business proposals; provide ROI and payback analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting using tools like Power Query, Python or AI assistants.
• Champion adoption of data analytics and AI tools within Commercial Finance; create dashboards and self-service reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and UAE financial regulations.

• Champion the adoption of new data, analytics and AI tools within the Commercial Finance team, building dashboards and self-service reporting that put insight directly in the hands of the business.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and applicable UAE financial regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (or active progression towards) such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA or CPA is strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Demonstrable experience business-partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the UAE or wider GCC region is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling; proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
• A genuine passion for AI, automation and data, with curiosity about emerging tools (e.g. generative AI assistants, Python, SQL, Power Query) and how they can transform finance.
• Commercial acumen, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
