A leading tool manufacturer in Dubai is seeking a Commercial Excellence Manager to enhance the performance of sales teams across the Middle East & Africa. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in sales training and demonstrated success in driving sales capability. As the Commercial Excellence Manager , you’ll be part of our Sales & Marketing / HR team working as an on-site employee, with responsibility for the Middle East & Africa markets. You will be responsible for elevating the performance and effectiveness of our commercial teams across distributors, retailers, and direct sales channels, driving capability, execution, and profitable volume growth.
Design and deliver structured sales capability programs (e.g., “SBD Commercial Academy”) for front-line sales, key account managers, and channel partners.
Develop and implement training roadmaps covering product knowledge, category selling, negotiation, and in-store execution .
Partner with marketing and category teams to build Go-to-Market (GTM) learning modules for new product launches .
Conduct regular sales coaching sessions, role plays, and on-the-job training aligned to performance metrics.
Create and manage essential sales playbooks, pitch decks, objection handling guides , and visual merchandising standards.
Translate business strategy and category priorities into clear field execution standards and KPIs .
Partner with regional and country sales leads to track productivity, coverage, call rate, and distribution objectives.
Drive best practice sharing across markets through learning communities and “champion networks.”
Partner with HR to embed sales capability within the overall Learning & Development framework.
Lead pre- and post-training assessments to measure impact on performance metrics such as sell-in, sell-out, and visibility.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is preferred).
5+ years of experience in Sales Training, Sales Capability, or Commercial Excellence , ideally within the FMCG or durable goods industries.
A proven record of designing and executing impactful sales enablement programs across multiple markets .
Strong understanding of distributor management, trade marketing, and retail execution principles.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, coupled with commercial acumen and an ROI mindset.
