Job description

Binance is looking for a Commercial Counsel to support its MENA (Middle East and North Africa) operations. In this legal role, you’ll draft and negotiate complex commercial and digital asset loan agreements, support business operations, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate digital asset loan agreements, including with traditional financial institutions and digital asset organizations.
  • Handle complex commercial contracts (e.g., fiat on/off ramps, marketing agreements).
  • Support daily commercial contracting needs (service agreements, supply-side/customer contracts).
  • Collaborate with product, operations, admin, and risk teams to enable new and existing business initiatives.
  • Monitor and update the team on digital asset regulatory developments in the MENA region.
  • Mentor and train junior lawyers.
Requirements:
  • 3–6 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience).
  • Strong background in loan/finance transactions from a global law firm or top in-house legal team.
  • Solid skills in drafting and analyzing commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with MENA legal frameworks, particularly the UAE and Bahrain.
