Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow up on overdue invoices via calls and emails.
• Negotiate payment terms and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities.
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts (AR).
• Ensure accurate invoicing and posting of payments.
• Prepare aging reports and report on balances.
• Reconcile bank statements with records regularly.
• Provide periodic collections and reconciliations reports.
• Support management with cash-flow insights.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Officer to manage accounts receivables, ensure timely collections, and perform account and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in collections, and a solid background in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collections Management:Follow up on overdue invoices through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
• Negotiate payment terms and resolve outstanding payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
• Accounts Receivable:Monitor and reconcile customer accounts.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and timely posting of payments.
• Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates on outstanding balances.
• Account Reconciliation:Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements with company records on a regular basis.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Reporting:Provide periodic reports on collections, outstanding accounts, and reconciliations.
• Support management with insights to improve cash flow.

Qualifications
