As a Coiled Tubing Drilling Field Engineer, you will be responsible for on-the-job support to our coiled tubing drilling activities. You will provide technical support at the field and support other services request. You will develop and execute planning for products, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Be the lead CT Engineer on-site providing technical support and resolving challenges ensuring safe and efficient execution.
  • Plan operation with CT Supervisors, Well Site Supervisor and Customer Representative based on CT programs, engineering calculations, and equipment requirements.
  • Monitor real-time job parameters and troubleshoot operational challenges.
  • Prepare post-job reports, lessons learned, and technical recommendations.
  • Maintain records of CT string fatigue and equipment performance including but not limited to CT Data Acquisition, CT Equipment, etc.
  • Ensure sufficient critical spares are at location.
  • Maintain job records and complete necessary paperwork. Communicate as required to Baker Hughes Coordinator/ Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including Baker Hughes office and field team, subcontractors and Customer Representative at field to ensure project needs are met.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety meetings.
  • Perform all required duties and responsibilities safely and as described by Baker Hughes Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

  • Have a minimum diploma in Engineering
  • 3 years of experience minimum in coiled tubing including field experience
