Job summary

NMDC Dredging & Marine in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Model Construction Supervisor to plan, coordinate, supervise and manage all physical model construction activities for hydraulic and coastal engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery to spec and budget.

You will lead Model Construction Technicians, coordinate with design and workshop teams, manage suppliers and subcontractors, and uphold HSE standards while documenting progress and maintaining construction logs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Maritime Engineering or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Maritime Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 years in marine, coastal, hydraulic, or construction industries.
• Minimum of 5 years in hydraulic laboratories, physical modeling facilities, or similar management roles.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and manage all physical model construction activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of physical models per specs, testing requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with Design Team to interpret and implement design requirements during construction.
• Supervise Model Construction Technicians and ensure safe, high-quality execution.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and construction logs.
