Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international energy trading firm seeking to hire an experienced Coal Trader to develop and expand their physical trading business across the Middle East, Asia, and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute trading strategies for thermal and metallurgical coal products, with full P&L accountability.
  • Originate, negotiate, and close transactions with miners, utilities, cement producers, industrial consumers, and other counterparties across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and freight providers to grow trading volumes and optimize margins.
  • Monitor global and regional market trends, pricing, freight dynamics, and regulatory developments to identify profitable trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, finance, and risk teams to ensure timely contract execution and effective risk management.
