Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of machining practices, tooling and measurement techniques and must ensure product quality while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling VMC/HMC) to produce parts as per design specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work instructions to determine machining operations.
• Load raw materials and tooling into machines and perform initial setups.
• Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerance and quality.
• Perform regular inspection of finished components using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production output, inspections and maintenance logs.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet targets and reduce downtime.

Essential Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade (Machinist / Fitter / Tool & Die).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens or Haas.
