Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company PJSC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

The Cluster Sales Manager Groups is responsible for proactively sourcing managing and converting group sales opportunities across all hotels within the cluster. The role focuses on developing and maintaining long‑term customer relationships ensuring seamless handover of business for flawless event execution and consistently achieving both personal and departmental sales.

Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively solicit, identify and secure new group and MICE business to maximize room and event revenue across the cluster.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with DMCs, corporate clients, event‑management companies and travel agents.
  • Represent the hotels at trade exhibitions, networking functions, sales calls, FAM trips and client entertainment events.
  • Collaborate with on‑property and off‑property sales teams to ensure cohesive and complementary sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate and timely handover of confirmed business to the Event Planning or Operations teams ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of cluster sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
Relationship Management
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing and new corporate and event clients to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients business needs, event preferences and long‑term goals to deliver customized solutions.
  • Engage with internal departments, cluster leadership and external stakeholders to expand the customer base and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Support the company’s relationship and loyalty strategy ensuring consistent brand representation and service excellence.
Sales Operations & Execution
  • Participate in joint client meetings and site inspections with the sales and events teams to convert leads into confirmed business.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation and proposal development to contracting and follow‑up.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, confidentiality standards and data protection regulations in all dealings.
  • Coordinate with revenue and operations teams to optimise yield, inventory and pricing for groups business.
  • Monitor event conversions and ensure efficient communication between sales, reservations and operations teams.
Market Intelligence & Revenue Optimization
  • Analyse local and international market trends, competitor activity and economic conditions to identify business opportunities.
  • Leverage insights on customer demand, market dynamics and seasonal trends to position the cluster strategically.
  • Actively sell against competitors by highlighting the cluster’s unique offerings and value propositions.
  • Identify potential new markets and segments to expand the business pipeline.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Deliver exceptional service throughout the client journey ensuring a seamless transition from sales to event execution.
  • Uphold the company’s standards of service quality and consistency in all client interactions.
  • Act as a role model in guest and client relations by proactively seeking feedback and implementing service improvements.
  • Ensure all client concerns are addressed promptly and effectively to drive loyalty and satisfaction.
Reporting & Performance
  • Prepare accurate sales activity reports, forecasts and performance analyses as required by the Cluster Director of Sales.
  • Track, monitor and achieve personal KPIs, sales targets and departmental revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM and sales systems (e.g. Opera, Delphi or Salesforce).
  • Participate actively in cluster and corporate sales meetings contributing to team discussions and sharing best practices.
Policies and Procedures
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Follow company and department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform nametags and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Protect company tools, equipment, machines or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Safety & Security
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices immediately to management and safety officials.
  • Notify Security/Loss Prevention of any guest reports of theft or suspicious activity.
  • Complete all legally required safety training and certifications.
  • Acquire knowledge of hotel fire safety systems and kitchen firefighting equipment.
  • Follow proper emergency procedures during evacuations, medical incidents or natural disasters.
  • Ensure safe handling, operation and storage of tools, machines and equipment in compliance with policies.
  • Use appropriate PPE, safe lifting practices and safety equipment to prevent injuries.
  • Safeguard company property and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
Associate Relation
  • Performs assigned jobs and special projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 35 years of progressive experience in a Group or MICE Sales role within a four or five‑star hotel in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of UAE market dynamics including DMC networks, travel agencies and corporate event planners.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of market trends, revenue optimization and competitor analysis.
  • Proficiency in hotel sales systems (e.g. Opera EMMA) and MS Office.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic or additional languages an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to work with a team and follow instructions.
  • Working in an environment with rigorous standards and the ability to multitask.
Physical Requirement
  • Stand, sit or stroll for long periods during work shifts.
  • Reach overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, tugging and stooping.
  • Can move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects under 25 pounds without help.
