Job summary

InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a Club Lounge Attendant to welcome Club InterContinental guests with warmth and professionalism, and to serve breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktails in line with IHG standards.

The role requires maintaining a pristine lounge atmosphere, anticipating guest needs, and coordinating with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to deliver a seamless guest journey, with the opportunity to contribute to a memorable luxury experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel or lounge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to Club InterContinental guests.
• Serve breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails according to service standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and ambiance of the Club Lounge.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Assist with concierge services including reservations, transport, and information.
• Maintain knowledge of VIP arrivals and guest preferences.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and confidentiality.

InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina, featuring 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event spaces, and a variety of restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to all Club InterContinental guests.
• Serve food and beverages during breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails in accordance with IHG service standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the Club Lounge at all times.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs, offering tailored recommendations and assistance.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
• Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Assist with concierge services including reservations, transport, and general information.
• Maintain knowledge of VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and special occasions.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel or lounge environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette and hygiene standards.
