Job summary

BlackStone eIT seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role focuses on automation, IaC, networking, and security best practices.

Responsibilities include deploying and managing cloud resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability while collaborating with DevOps, developers, and security teams to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment and operational processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud networking, storage, compute, and security services.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Optimize cloud resources to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
