Job summary

Mintlayer is seeking two Cloud DevOps Engineers to build and maintain the infrastructure for Mintlayer Web Services. You will orchestrate Go-based microservices and a globally distributed network of Rust-based Mintlayer nodes, with core working hours 10am-1pm CET.

Expert-level Kubernetes and Docker, plus Terraform/Pulumi/Ansible for IaC, are required. Prior blockchain node experience and Go/Python automation are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure automation: design and implement automated deployment pipelines for the MWS API layer and the Mintlayer core node
• Node orchestration: develop tools for rapid deployment, scaling, and monitoring of Mintlayer nodes across multiple cloud providers
• Monitoring & Alerting: build observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to monitor network health and API performance
• Security & Compliance: implement and maintain network security protocols, firewall configurations, and automated vulnerability scanning
• Disaster Recovery: design high-availability architectures and failover strategies to ensure MWS remains resilient
• Deep experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins for CI/CD of Rust and Go codebases
• Experience with VPCs, IAM, Secrets Management (Vault), and mitigating DDoS attacks
