Job summary

Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator/Leader to mentor nursing staff, guide complex patient care, and develop individualized care plans. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, regulatory compliance, and interprofessional collaboration to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Applicants should have 5+ years of nursing experience (UAE or abroad), 1+ year in clinical education, a BSc in Nursing, and relevant licenses (RN, UAE DHA).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of continuous nursing experience (UAE or abroad).
• Minimum 1 year in clinical education.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSc Nursing (4 years).
• Current RN license and UAE DHA license.
• BLS certification; ALS recommended but not required.
• Overseas experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
• Provide expertise and guidance on complex patient cases.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate competency-based learning by guiding nurses in performing patient assessments.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate outcomes to ensure safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and deliver clinical teaching that reinforces interprofessional collaboration and continuity of care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing performance; provide coaching and feedback to address clinical gaps, strengthen critical thinking and uphold high standards of patient-centered care.
• Conduct training sessions and in-service education for staff on new procedures, protocols and equipment.
• Identify educational needs and develop in-service training sessions and continuing education opportunities.
• Promote professional development and certification among nursing staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational processes.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to reduce adverse events and enhance patient safety.
• Implement and monitor infection control practices to prevent hospital-acquired infections in the hospital.
• Mentor and precept new nurses and nursing students within the nursing department.
• Provide hands-on training and support to enhance clinical skills and confidence.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on performance to promote professional growth.

• Current license in country of origin
• UAE DHA License
• Current RN license from a recognized accredited professional body
• Has a valid BLS, certification
• Have an advanced life support certification recommended but not a must
