Job summary

Backpack Health in the United States is seeking a clinical supervisor to oversee residency programs and ensure high-quality behavioral health care. You will supervise weekly, review treatment plans and documentation, and maintain a small caseload to model best practices.

You will co-lead resident orientation and training sessions, monitor Medicaid compliance, and develop individualized development plans in collaboration with program leadership and clinical operations teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree required (LCSW-C or LCPC).
• Unrestricted licensure in Maryland (permitted for the role).
• 4+ years of post-master's clinical experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in virtual healthcare strategy or systems-level behavioral health transformation.
• Success launching tech-enabled or digital clinical initiatives.
• Knowledge of compliance, Medicaid documentation standards, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and group supervision aligned with state and accreditation standards.
• Review and approve treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain a small, active caseload to model best practices.
• Co-lead resident orientation, workshops, and ongoing training sessions.
• Monitor and approve resident documentation for timeliness, accuracy, and Medicaid compliance.
• Conduct competency-based evaluations and develop individualized development plans.
• Partner with Residency Program leadership and Clinical Operations teams.
