Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi invites a qualified psychologist to join the clinical team. You will provide psychological assessments and develop intervention plans for patients, collaborating with other medical professionals to integrate care.

A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with five years of clinical experience is required, plus current DoH Abu Dhabi licensure as a Clinical Psychologist; a PhD in Clinical Psychology is desirable.

To provide care for patients presenting with psychological difficulties by delivering independent and high-quality psychological assessment and intervention plans in collaboration with other medical teams.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in the field of clinical psychology, dealing with cases of psychopathology, in a clinical setting. Training can be counted if a valid training certificate in a recognized institution was submitted
• Minimum 2 years experience in conducting psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, paediatric and/or geriatric patients
• Stronghold of psychopathology diagnosis, assessment and intervention plans

Desired

• Further knowledge in, experience with and exposure to different clinical settings, cases, populations and intervention techniques

Required

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology plus 5 years experience in a clinical setting
• Currently licensed as Clinical Psychologist by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi
• A PhD in Clinical Psychology or other related clinical specialty is desirable
