Job summary

Alpheya, a B2B WealthTech startup in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients, translating business needs into technical solutions. You will own adapter development, collaborate with internal teams on core feature implementation, and manage deployments in client environments.

You will engage with clients on technical calls, drive architectural decisions within scope, and contribute to platform evolution through field insights and reusable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages; current stack includes TypeScript and Go.
• Experience debugging cloud-native environments; familiarity with relational databases, Kubernetes, Temporal, logs and traces.
• Ownership mindset and accountability for client success.
• Excellent communication skills for technical calls and client interactions.
• Collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to translate technical constraints into business requirements and vice versa.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end technical delivery for specific clients.
• Run technical calls, reviews, and sign-offs with client teams.
• Translate technical constraints into internal requirements and collaborate with clients on feasible implementation strategies.
• Travel to client sites as needed (<20% travel expected).
• Lead client-specific adapter implementation in customer environments.
