Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide practical classroom assistance and pupil support at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. You will work with teachers to help pupils participate in lessons, develop independence, and benefit from a well-organised learning environment within the UAE National context.

The role focuses on supporting phonics, numeracy, literacy, and curriculum tasks while ensuring safe and positive classroom experiences for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
• Previous experience in an education environment is desirable.
• UAE National candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning across the curriculum.
• Assist pupils with phonics, mathematics strategies, literacy activities, and other tasks.
• Prepare worksheets and learning materials, and maintain a well-organised classroom environment.
• Record pupil activities and observations for the class teacher.
• Support pupils to become independent learners through modelling and guidance.
