Job summary

Aldar Education seeks a Classroom Assistant - UAEN for Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi for AY 26/27 to support our growing family of schools in the UAE. You will assist pupils inside and outside the classroom, help with individual education programmes, and support well-being throughout the school day.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum secondary qualification, at least two years in a school, and English language skills aligned with the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school certificate.
• At least two years of school-based experience.
• English language skills in line with the curriculum.
• UAE national with min secondary or Bachelor's degree.
• Clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils or groups inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in implementing individual education programmes and monitor progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs and develop social skills.
• Assist class teachers with pupil records and displaying pupil work.
• Help with photocopying and other tasks to support teaching.
• Comply with health and safety requirements and school policies.
• Monitor attendance and supervise pupils in classrooms and other areas.
• Contribute to behaviour policy development and promote pupil well-being.
