Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design, validate and oversee the implementation of structural solutions for infrastructure and industrial projects. You will ensure designs meet safety, durability and regulatory expectations while coordinating with architects, project teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
• Conduct structural analysis and produce technical reports and calculations.
• Participate in design reviews and value engineering workshops.
• Perform site inspections to verify work conforms to design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and contractors to resolve interface issues.
• Review material submittals and approve structural components.
• Support tender and procurement activities with technical input.
• Assist in assessing and managing structural risks and change requests.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural design and site supervision on medium/large projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar).
• Good understanding of codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, BS) relevant to project geography.
• Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional registration or chartership is an advantage.
