Job summary

A leading construction company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee and execute civil works on-site. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and relevant experience, especially in oil & gas projects. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with contractors. Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas site execution and coordination (ADNOC experience preferred).
• Understanding of HSE and PTW systems.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and inspections.
• Basic surveying and material testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil works (excavation foundations concreting structural and infrastructure) as per project drawings and specifications.
• Monitor daily site activities ensuring adherence to safety quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors
  subcontractors and other disciplines for smooth site operations.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings technical specifications and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Track progress prepare daily/weekly site reports and update project management.
• Manage materials tools and manpower to ensure efficient site execution.
• Raise and close site technical queries (STQs) and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Liaise with QA/QC and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned civil works and support commissioning activities if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of civil construction methods and standards (ACI BS ASTM)
