Royal International Construction in Dubai is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to plan, manage and execute civil construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and safety standards. You will liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to align objectives.

Ideal candidates have a 6–10 year track record in large-scale infrastructure or similar, strong knowledge of project management and quality control, and are proficient in coordinating design drawings and site

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and quality control.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.

Summary:

The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and executing civil construction projects. The role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Civil Project Engineer liaises with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

   • Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation in coordination with project managers.

   • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.

   • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

   • Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

   • Monitor work progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.

   • Ensure proper utilization of materials, equipment, and labor in line with project requirements.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

   • Conduct inspections and ensure that construction work meets design and quality standards.

   • Enforce adherence to safety regulations, labor laws, and internal company policies.

   • Coordinate testing of materials and civil works to ensure compliance with standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

   • Maintain accurate project records, daily site reports, progress updates, and issue logs.

   • Prepare periodic reports on project status, cost, and schedule for management review.

   • Support internal and external audits by providing project documentation.

5. Technical Support & Problem Solving

   • Provide engineering support to resolve technical challenges during construction.

   • Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for technical compliance.

   • Recommend value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and timelines.

Qualifications & certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in civil construction projects.

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in civil construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and quality control.

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.
