Job summary

Royal International Construction is seeking a Civil Foreman to supervise on-site civil works, coordinate a workforce, and ensure safety and quality across projects in the UAE. You will liaise with engineers and subcontractors to resolve on-site challenges and keep projects on schedule.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, a PE is preferred, and 6–8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, residential, or commercial construction. Leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required); Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves managing site workers, monitoring progress, and liaising with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Workforce Management

   • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for civil works, including structural, finishing, and infrastructure tasks.

   • Assign tasks to workers, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are met.

   • Provide guidance and training to site staff to maintain quality and efficiency.

2. Project Execution & Monitoring

   • Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

   • Monitor work progress against schedules and report delays or issues to site engineers.

   • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required for site operations.

3. Safety & Compliance

   • Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment on‑site.

   • Identify and mitigate potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.

   • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and industry regulations.

4. Coordination & Reporting

   • Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve technical or operational issues.

   • Maintain daily site records, including manpower, materials used, and progress reports.

   • Provide regular updates to management regarding site activities and challenges.

5. Quality Assurance

   • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

   • Address defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.

   • Support quality control inspections and audits.

Qualifications & certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required); Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
