Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in civil/material testing laboratory, preferably on construction projects.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized tests on construction materials including soil, concrete, and asphalt.
• Prepare samples and perform various testing methods for construction materials.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibrations are current.
• Support QA/QC Engineers in quality control documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of ASTM, BS, and AASHTO standards

Strong attention to detail

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)

Education

Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or related field
