Job summary

Responsibilities

• Site Inspection & Supervision: Monitor and inspect construction activities related to roads, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and local regulations.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all works comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and relevant authorities’ standards; identify non-conformities and assist in corrective actions; review contractor method statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed inspection records, daily reports, site observations, and photographic evidence; assist in preparing progress reports and attend site meetings.
• Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams; communicate effectively to resolve site issues promptly.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team for a Roads & Infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction supervision activities, ensuring that the work is executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards. This is a 6-month project, with the potential for reassignment to other projects, although continuity is not guaranteed.

• Site Inspection & Supervision:

  • Monitor and inspect construction activities related to roads, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and local regulations.
  • Conduct routine checks on grading, paving, drainage, and other civil works.
  • Verify and document the quality and quantity of materials used.

• Compliance & Quality Control:

  • Ensure all works comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and relevant authorities’ standards.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Review and validate contractors’ method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and material submittals.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, site observations, and photographic evidence.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports and attend site meetings.

• Coordination & Communication:

  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve site issues promptly.
