We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a project-based background to join our team.

Job Summary: As a Civil Engineer with a project-based focus, you will play a critical role in planning, designing, and managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee project milestones, and ensure all aspects of the projects meet client requirements and industry standards. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in handling complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Design: Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and drawings for civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and buildings.
Project Management: Coordinate and oversee project activities, manage timelines, and ensure the project adheres to budgetary constraints. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Site Analysis and Assessment: Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies, including environmental impact assessments and soil testing.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and constructions comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve engineering issues that arise during project development, utilizing innovative solutions and technical expertise.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project evaluations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PMP) certificate.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on project-based work. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and project management tools.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
