As a Civil Engineer - Roads, you will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising road construction, dry utilities, and infrastructure delivery. You'll coordinate daily site operations, monitor contractor performance, review technical submissions, and ensure strict adherence to UAE standards and health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

* Supervise all road and associated infrastructure work, including dry utilities
* Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
* Maintain project documentation including daily site diaries and reports
* Monitor project schedule, resource allocation, and site activities
* Collaborate with Resident Engineer, authorities, and contractors
* Ensure compliance with Dubai s road construction codes and quality benchmarks
* Conduct inspections and technical assessments to support infrastructure approvals
* Oversee safety compliance and ensure zero incident implementation
* Prepare progress reports, assist in as-built documentation and audit readiness

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum 7 years of site experience in road construction, bridges, or infrastructure in UAE or GCC
* Proven ability to manage large-scale road projects under fast-paced deadlines
* Strong familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE engineering standards
* Hands-on experience with contractor supervision, RFI reviews, and safety protocols
* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
