Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various infrastructure projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects while adhering to local regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and designs. Ensure that projects meet functional requirements, safety standards, and aesthetic considerations.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments to determine project viability. Evaluate the potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with each project.
  • Construction Oversight: Supervise and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring that work progresses according to the approved plans and specifications. Address any issues that may arise during construction and make necessary adjustments.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction materials, methods, and workmanship to maintain the highest level of quality in line with industry standards and regulations.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Prepare project budgets, estimates, and resource plans. Monitor expenses and resources to ensure projects are executed within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to coordinate project elements and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities. Ensure that all projects comply with local codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence. Prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical and engineering challenges that may arise during different project phases. Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or inquiries they may have.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and contractors.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong track record of successfully completed projects in the UAE.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken).
