Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide executive leadership to oversee the operations and delivery of healthcare technology platforms. This role focuses on aligning operations with business goals, streamlining processes, and ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions that transform healthcare in Abu Dhabi. The COO will lead teams, foster strategic partnerships, and drive innovation to empower healthier communities.
Key responsibilities
- Operational leadership: Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth operations and delivery of healthcare platforms, aligned with organizational goals.
- Team management: Lead and inspire diverse teams, including technical and operational staff, to achieve excellence and foster collaboration.
- Process improvement: Optimize workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Partnership development: Build and manage relationships with technology partners and healthcare stakeholders to strengthen platform capabilities.
- Project oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business and client expectations.
- Compliance and quality: Maintain high standards for data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in all operations.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work with executives, clients, and partners to align operations with business needs and community impact.
- Innovation: Promote the adoption of new ideas and technologies to keep platforms cutting-edge and impactful.
Required skills and experience
- Experience: 15+ years in operational leadership, with 7+ years in healthcare or technology-related fields.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operations effectively.
- Compliance knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and operational best practices.
- Communication: Strong ability to connect with business and community stakeholders, bridging operational and strategic goals.
- Language skills: Ability to speak an Eastern European language (e.g., Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, etc.).
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the United Arab Emirates.
- Diversity: Gender diversity candidates preferred.
- Certifications (preferred): Leadership or healthcare-related certifications (e.g., healthcare management, project management).
