Strategy
- Develop and enforce standardized project governance frameworks, including financial, contractual, and technical oversight mechanisms across all road projects.
- Lead the formulation of integrated project plans aligned with RTA’s long-term urban mobility and sustainability goals, ensuring strategic coherence and future-readiness.
- Champion the adoption of advanced project management methodologies, digital tools, and AI-driven analytics to enhance decision-making, predictive planning, and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate and prioritize new design concepts, innovations, and value engineering proposals based on technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and contribution to urban sustainability and uniqueness.
Operations
- Manage end-to-end contract and financial lifecycle of road projects, including tendering, change orders, claims, payments, cash flow forecasting, and final account settlements.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved technical standards, specifications, and design guidelines across all project phases and departments, with centralized oversight and unified compliance protocols.
- Coordinate cross-functional project integration, aligning timelines, resources, and deliverables to prevent conflicts and optimize execution efficiency.
- Conduct regular field inspections to validate on-site implementation, material quality, and compliance with approved designs, ensuring real-time quality assurance and corrective action.
- Oversee the handover of completed infrastructure assets to relevant authorities, ensuring accurate registration in RTA and municipal systems and full documentation of deliverables.
Product/Process Improvement
- Design and maintain a centralized Projects Dashboard to track technical, financial, and contractual KPIs in real time, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and actionable insights.
- Implement a standardized project performance review system using lessons learned from past projects to continuously improve execution efficiency, risk mitigation, and design quality.
- Develop and institutionalize a formal governance process for requesting, reviewing, and approving deviations or exceptions to technical standards, ensuring accountability and consistency.
- Drive the integration of BIM and automated project management systems, leveraging AI and data analytics to enhance monitoring, forecasting, and decision support capabilities.
Physical Working Conditions
- Regular on-site visits to construction and implementation zones; moderate exposure to outdoor environments, traffic, and construction activities.
- Standard office environment with frequent collaboration across departments and external stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Urban Planning.
Experience: Bachelor's degree, 2 years of experience master’s degree, 3 years of experience
