Job summary

Minor Hotels in Sharjah seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of all hotel facilities, equipment and infrastructure. The role oversees preventive maintenance, energy management, regulatory compliance, renovations, and the delivery of guest and colleague experiences while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of engineering experience in hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, MEP, HVAC, fire and life safety, and hotel maintenance operations.
• Excellent leadership, project management, budgeting, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local regulations and sustainability practices is an advantage.
