Job summary

Mazrui International LLC seeks a Chemical Plant Process Operator in Abu Dhabi to perform routine production tasks and operate reactors, mixers, pumps, and other process equipment in line with SOPs and batch instructions.

Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will charge raw materials, monitor process parameters, collect samples for QC, and ensure safe, efficient batch production while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Secondary School level Grade 12 and/or ITI Technical Trades OR relevant industry experience.
• Basic communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Good physical strength and healthy.

Responsibilities

• Operate reactors, mixers, pumps and other process equipment in accordance with SOPs and batch instructions.
• Charge raw materials, monitor process parameters and ensure batch production is completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and record process data, production results and equipment status accurately.
• Collect product samples and support quality control activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and workplace safety in the production area.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, startup, shutdown and continuous improvement activities as required.
• Conduct specific routine production tasks as directed by Supervisor.

Job Objective

To perform tasks related to routine production and other tasks as directed by Supervisor Senior Operators

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reactors mixers pumps and other process equipment in accordance with approved SOPs and batch instructions
• Charge raw materials monitor process parameters and ensure batch production is completed safely and efficiently
• Perform routine inspections and record process data production results and equipment status accurately
• Collect product samples and support quality control activities to ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify and report process deviations equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping cleanliness and workplace safety in the production area
• Support maintenance troubleshooting startup shutdown and continuous improvement activities as required
• Conduct specific routine production tasks as directed by Supervisor

Management

To understand and follow basic safety regulations during the course of the work and to develop understanding of all company QHSE standards operational procedures Follow instructions from Production Supervisor and Senior Operators for day-to-day activities Participate in the sustainability program

Specialized Knowledge

Field Operations in chemical process industryOperation of Pumps Compressors Reactors columns Tank farms

Ability / Skills

• Basic communication skills in English written and verbal
• Basic mathematics skills like addition subtraction multiplication with without a calculator
• Good physical strength and healthy
• Basic understanding of equipment operations in production section

Experience

2 - 5 years in Chemical Process Industries Minimum 2 years excluding the training period if training is for one year then 1 2 years required and or Minimum1 year as Assistant Operator

Academic Qualifications

Minimum Higher Secondary School level Grade 12 and or ITI Technical Trades OR relevant industry experience

This is NOT just any machine operator role. This role requires hands-on experience as a Chemical Process / Plant Operator in a Chemical Manufacturing Factory
