The ideal candidate will be passionate about pastry arts, possess strong artistic skills in cake decoration, and demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality desserts and bespoke cakes that meet luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, and specialty cakes.

  • Design, sculpt, and decorate cakes for events, celebrations, and bespoke guest requests.

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in all pastry items according to brand standards.

  • Assist in menu creation, seasonal offerings, and dessert displays.

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.

  • Support the Pastry Chef in daily operational tasks, training junior staff when required.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a CDP – Pastry, Cake Artist, or similar role in a luxury hotel or premium bakery.

  • Strong artistic talent and proficiency in fondant work, sugar craft, piping, and modern cake-design techniques.

  • Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert plating.

  • Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
