Qualifications

• 2+ years' of culinary or kitchen experience.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, innovative, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
• Has complete knowledge and understanding of all cookery techniques and processes.
• Thorough understanding of all occupational health and safety issues.
• Demonstrates flexibility and high energy levels.
• Has thorough knowledge of all food products - local and imported.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Ability to organize and lead a team of cooks by assigning specific duties.
• Works closely with the culinary team to keep kitchen areas clean and orderly.
• Responsible for the quality of all food items prepared and ensures recipes are followed consistently.
• Ensure culinary work according to HACCP standard.
• Avoid using spoiled or damaged serving utensils; monitor china and glassware quality.
• Comply with government, safety, health, and security standards at all times.
• Maintain equipment in the area and notify management as necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned.
