A luxury hotel chain in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate Chef De Cuisine for their All Day Dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will have expertise in European cuisine and strong leadership skills, ensuring the highest quality in food presentation and guest service. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in luxury hotels and offers an opportunity to create innovative menus in a prestigious setting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in 5* Luxury Hotels.
  • Previous experience in Europe preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency and highest quality in food taste, temperature and presentation.
  • Help plan and implement creative menus for the hotel's buffet operation.
  • Foster an environment of effective communication.
  • Ensure Quality and Cleanliness at all times.
  • Coordinate with Service, Stewarding & Events Team.

All Day Dining Restaurant, Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi

We have a great opportunity for a Chef De Cuisine to join our All Day Dining restaurant, Sofra BLD. The successful applicant will have a passion for their craft and bring an advanced and varied skillset to the role. Also, delivering a consistent and quality service to our guests ensuring that the quality of service for which Shangri-La hotel is known and loved is upheld.

What are we looking for?
  • A clear Passion for food and the culinary arts.
  • Well versed in European Cuisine.
  • Ability to provide conceptual food according to special occasions, themed nights, breakfast brunches etc.
  • Certified Trainer for all Food Hygiene Courses and HACCP Courses.
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Minimum of3 - 5 years’ experience in 5* Luxury Hotels
  • Knowledge in computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in Europe will be highly sought after.
What will you do?
