As Chef you will have the responsibility of overseeing the kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes. You will ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality while also monitoring food production costs. Additionally, you will need to provide leadership and direction to kitchen staff members while motivating them to perform to the best of their abilities.
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry as well as excellent culinary skills. You should have good knowledge of kitchen safety regulations and standards as well as strong leadership skills. Additionally, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality at all times.
