Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking an R&D Engineer – Chassis Development to support design, testing, and validation of chassis systems and components. You will ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, safety, ISO requirements, and regulatory standards while driving improvements in manufacturability.

In this role you will review supplier specifications, collaborate with design engineers, conduct fitment trials, perform testing, and document changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automotive engineering.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 3–7 years in R&D, chassis development or related.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate supplier specifications and deviations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve non-conformities.
• Support supplier evaluations and approvals.
• Collaborate with design engineers to refine chassis components.
• Contribute to design optimization for manufacturability, durability and safety.
• Support engineering change processes and documentation.
• Conduct fitment trials and performance testing.
• Analyze test results and recommend improvements.
• Maintain development documentation and compliance.
