Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking an entry-level Site Assistant to support surveyors by preparing survey sites, clearing obstacles, and ensuring clear lines of sight for accurate measurements.

You will assist in measuring distances, angles, and elevations using basic tools, place markers, and help collect and record data for maps and plans. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and good teamwork on outdoor construction sites, with training provided.

Site Preparation

You might be required to clear vegetation obstacles and or sand gravel from survey paths and ensure clear lines of sight for the surveyors

Physical Stamina

The job often involves physical labor including carrying equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions

Assisting Surveyors

You are required to support surveyors in measuring distances angles and elevations using tools like chains tapes total stations and GPS receivers

Marker Placement

You will be required to place survey markers like stakes or pins to establish points for measurements and construction layouts

Data Collection

You are required to support surveyors to collect and record survey data ensuring accuracy and contributing to the creation of maps and plans

Equipment Handling

You will be responsible for maintaining and operating survey equipment including electronic distance-measuring instruments

Safety Compliance

You must adhere to safety protocols and procedures on construction sites and other survey locations

Communication

You must communicate effectively with the survey team to coordinate efforts and ensure accurate data collection

Record Keeping

You are required to assist with record-keeping and minor equipment repairs
