Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician to join our In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) Team. This role operates across our modern fleet, contributing to safety, maintenance data integrity, and technical excellence within Journey 2030.

You will sign off on work, adhere to regulatory procedures, and support IFE troubleshooting during shifts. A formal apprenticeship and an Aircraft Maintenance License are required, with knowledge of IFE systems essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
• Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Knowledge on different IFE & connectivity systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to Safety & Quality Regulatory procedures.
• Oversee staff health, safety, and performance requirements on shift.
• Sign-off work performed in accordance with approved data.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely per procedures.
• Support ongoing IFE troubleshooting.
• Attend IFE troubleshooting while on shift.
• Ensure unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with proper labels.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with counterparties.

• Ensure strict adherence to Etihad Airways' Safety & Quality Regulatory procedures. Proactively oversee staff health, safety, and work performance requirements, verifying that all tasks are executed using approved tooling and maintenance data. Foster a robust safety and incident reporting culture
• Report on time to duty and execute all IFE tasks allocated during his shift.
• Sign-off own work been performed in accordance with approved data as assigned by his lead.
• Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the current company procedures.
• Support all ongoing IFE troubleshooting.
• Attend any IFE troubleshooting while on shift.
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
• Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with counterparties.
