Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy seeks a qualified Quality Control Inspector – Welding with proven experience in tanks and piping projects in the UAE. The role ensures welding and fabrication comply with project specs, codes and ADNOC requirements.

A CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification is required along with 3–5 years of field experience. The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, coordinate NDT activities, review material certificates, and maintain quality documentation with attention

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Valid welding inspection certification: CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent approved by ADNOC.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Welding QC Inspector.
• Experience in tanks and piping projects (oil & gas preferred).
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and verification of welding activities in accordance with approved WPS, drawings, and applicable codes/standards
• Conduct visual inspections of welds, fit-ups, and joint preparations
• Monitor welding parameters and ensure compliance with qualified procedures
• Review and verify material certificates and welding consumables
• Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and welds
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions
• Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and project quality requirements
