Volt Management Services Limited in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a precise ceramic tile fixer to join our construction team. You will prepare surfaces, measure and cut tiles, and lay and finish floor and wall tiling to specification.

A keen eye for alignment, pattern, and finish is essential. You should be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, with a good understanding of health and safety and the ability to read technical plans.

• Reading layout drawings and design specifications for tiling works.

To be a successful ceramic tile fixer, you should have a keen eye for alignment, pattern, and finish. Ultimately, a top-notch ceramic tile fixer should be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather types.

Ceramic Tile Fixer Responsibilities:

• Reading layout drawings and design specifications for tiling works.
• Preparing and levelling surfaces prior to tile installation.
• Measuring, marking out, and cutting ceramic/porcelain tiles to size.
• Applying adhesive and laying tiles on floors and walls to the correct alignment and pattern.

Ceramic Tile Fixer Requirements:

• Kenyan Passport (valid, minimum 1 year validity)
• Certified Grade Test
• 3+ years' working experience
• A completed apprenticeship in tiling.
• An NVQ certification in tiling may be advantageous.
• Basic work experience in construction may be advantageous.
• A good understanding of health and safety issues.
• The ability to read and follow technical plans and drawings.
• The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
