Job summary

Installtec Electromechanical LLC seeks an experienced SIRA-certified CCTV Technician in the UAE to lead end-to-end installation, testing, and commissioning for large-scale IP surveillance projects. The role requires hands-on work with 200–500 cameras, NVRs/VMS, and network gear on active sites.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of ELV/CCTV expertise, knowledge of major brands (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Milestone), and UAE driving capability. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on ELV/CCTV experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of camera and VMS brands and network basics.
• Experience with 200–500 camera deployments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end installation, cabling (structured cabling, fiber termination), and mounting of IP cameras, NVRs/VMS, and switches.
• Configure and commission VMS/NVR platforms and storage for 200–500 cameras.
• Set up network infrastructure: IP schema, VLANs, PoE switches, and basic routing.
• Perform SIRA compliance audits, testing, and documentation for authority inspections.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, network, and video stream issues on active sites.

Installtec is looking for an experienced, SIRA-Certified CCTV Technician with a proven track record in end-to-end installation, testing, and commissioning of large-scale IP surveillance projects (200 to 500+ cameras).

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end installation, cabling (structured cabling, fiber optic termination), termination, and mounting of IP cameras, NVRs/VMS, and network switches.
• Configure, address, and commission enterprise VMS/NVR platforms and storage systems for 200–500 camera setups.
• Set up network infrastructure, including IP schema planning, VLAN assignments, PoE switches, and basic routing.
• Conduct SIRA compliance audits, testing, and documentation to prepare sites for SIRA authority inspections and approvals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, network bandwidth, and video stream issues efficiently on active project sites.

Skills

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification: Valid SIRA CCTV Technician Certificate (Mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on ELV/CCTV technical experience in the UAE.
• Large-Scale Project Capability: Demonstrated ability to independently handle and configure medium-to-large deployments (200 to 500 cameras).
• Driver's License: Valid UAE Manual/Automatic Driving License (Mandatory).
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of major camera and VMS brands (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Milestone), network configuration, and SIRA standards/regulations.
• Availability: Immediate or short notice preferred.
