Job summary

GTech IT Solutions LLC is seeking a CCTV Technician to install, configure, test, and commission CCTV systems on client sites in Abu Dhabi. The role involves camera installation, alignment, and troubleshooting, as well as configuring NVR/DVR, IP cameras, and associated networking equipment.

Applicants should have 1–5 years of experience with IP and analog CCTV systems, and be able to read layouts and technical documents.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in CCTV installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of IP CCTV and analog CCTV systems.
• Experience with NVR, DVR, IP cameras, PoE switches and storage systems.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, IP addressing and VLANs.

Job description

• Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV systems.

• Perform CCTV camera installation, alignment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Configure NVR/DVR systems, storage, recording, and playback functions.

• Configure IP cameras, network switches, and related networking equipment.

• Troubleshoot CCTV system faults and resolve technical issues.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.

• Conduct site inspections and identify technical requirements.

• Prepare installation reports, testing & commissioning reports, and service reports.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Ensure installations are completed according to project specifications and approved drawings.

• Perform system testing and handover after successful commissioning.

• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians.

• Maintain proper documentation of CCTV systems and equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-5 years of experience in CCTV installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

• Good knowledge of IP CCTV and analog CCTV systems.

• Experience with NVR, DVR, IP cameras, PoE switches, and storage systems.

• Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and VLANs.

• Ability to troubleshoot CCTV hardware and software issues.

• Experience with CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, or similar is an advantage.

• Ability to read and understand CCTV layouts, drawings, and technical documents.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • UAE driving license is an advantage.
